One of the most common questions we hear from new customers is simple: do I need a standard cleaning or a deep cleaning? The answer depends on how your home has been maintained, how much time has passed since the last thorough clean, and what result you are hoping for.

What is a standard cleaning?

A standard cleaning — sometimes called a recurring or maintenance clean — is designed to keep an already well-kept home looking fresh. It focuses on surfaces you interact with every day: floors, counters, bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, and tidying.

What is a deep cleaning?

A deep cleaning goes past the surface. It tackles the buildup that a weekly clean is not designed to handle — grime behind appliances, soap scum in grout lines, dust on baseboards, and hard-water marks on fixtures. It typically takes longer and uses more targeted products.

Which one should you book?

If it has been more than four to six weeks since a professional cleaning, or if you have recently moved in, hosted guests, or noticed noticeable buildup, we generally recommend starting with a deep clean and switching to standard cleanings for maintenance after that.
